... a traditional 16th century Welsh Long House which has been tastefully renovated. It is set in the Rhinog Mountain Range above Harlech/Talsarnau and is surrounded by unspoilt countryside. The Cottage has breathtaking views towards the Traeth Bach Estuary and across to the Llyn Peninsular and is the perfect place to view the most spectacular sunsets.
Access is via a winding lane which has two farm gates; a five bar gate, hung from traditional stone pillars opens from the lane on to a large driveway, the atmosphere is amazingly peaceful and can draw those who visit deep into its heart. It is an ideal base for touring the area, walking, cycling, bird watching or to just relax and admire this beautiful, tranquil location.
Nearby Harlech has the most beautiful sandy beaches which stretch for miles, a magnificent 13th-Century Castle and Royal St. Davids 18-hole golf course.
The Cottage comprises of one double room, a mezzanine with two single beds, bathroom, kitchen/ dining area and lounge area. It has a well equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is a washing machine and drying area in an adjoining utility room. The lounge has a TV with freesat and a large Inglenook fireplace with a log burner. The Cottage also has electric storage heaters.
The garden is very large with a patio area complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture.
